The studio facility is built into a standard commercial "bay" with an 11 foot wide roll up door a concrete floor. The ceiling is high -- 30 ft in the middle and about 20 ft along the perimeter of the space.

The walls and floor have been painted completely white.

I have six strobe monolights available - four are White Lightnings and two Alien Bees. About 10 different softboxes can be used including a 5 ft Octodome, large rectangular softboxes and long narrow ones with grids.

In 2005 I had a 14 foot wide cove (or cyc) built from plywood and plaster. The large 2ft radius can be lit so that there is no visible break. Not only does this eliminate the need to remove the break in Photoshop, the light bouncing off it is much "smoother."

In the image above you can see a dancer jumping. She is lighted using two large narrow softboxes with grids which produce a very dramatic cross light.
