Eyelashes
First, curl your eyelashes -- this makes them look longer, makes the eye larger and opens up the
eye. Then apply mascara lightly and use a fine brush to remove any clumps! Easy on eyeliner! We want the eyes to sparkle and too much black around the eye sucks up the light that should be coming from them.
Great Cheekbones
Most of us weren't born with the great bone structure of say, Michelle Pfeiffer. So we help things along
with blush -- it should be applied in a way that would mimic the shadow you get if you had those great cheekbones.
Press your cheekbones with your fingers and feel the shape of the bone. Apply the blush slightly under the bone
in the area where it would cast a shadow if it were more prominent.
Lips
After the eyes come the lips. Generally, full lips are more desirable than thin ones so apply a liner and
then lipstick in a way that will enhance the fullness. A little gloss on top of that will give them a moist
look, which is also much in vogue. Shade/Color? If we are doing a black and white shot then the actual shade
is not going to show up but will affect how "dark" the lips appear in the final image.
